Dakota Conference on Rural and Public Health is only two weeks away!
- Friday, June 01, 2018
The 33rd annual Dakota Conference on Rural and Public Health is just two weeks away! We hope you will find the presentations, exhibits, and networking opportunities a valuable experience that will strengthen the work you do in your community.
If you haven’t already purchased your banquet tickets, we recommend that you do so now; it is always a great time celebrating with the very deserving award recipients who will be recognized at the banquet. Also, if you plan to attend the ND Public Health Association Pre-Conference, Flex/CAH Pre-Conference, or ND Rural Health Association meeting, please go online and register for them. If you don’t remember what you registered for, send Julie Reiten an email.
Please keep the following in mind:
- Handouts are only available online! In an effort to become more environmentally friendly, we have chosen to not print and distribute handouts for the conference presentations. Handouts may be found here.
- Jeans Day: Conference attendees (including exhibitors) are asked to participate in Jeans Day to benefit Red River Valley Community Action (RRVCA). Wear your jeans on Friday, June 15 and donate to this cause. If you wear jeans on Friday, please stop by the registration desk any time during the conference to make a donation.
- Exhibits will be available in the Aurora Ballroom 4 during the “Visit Exhibits” times listed on the schedule. Please take time to learn about what these exhibitors have to offer and thank them for supporting the conference.
- The Reception will be held on Wednesday from 4:10 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. in Aurora Ballroom 4. Please join us while we visit with the exhibitors over appetizers and a cash bar.
We will send additional information one week prior to the conference.
